DENSITY Rod 密度棒 (感溫浮沉子)
Density rod is a good apparatus for teacher to demonstrate the density of water, the factor affect water density, floating properties and requirements .It is a small hollow aluminum rod, well polished, 6.5cm in length and 1.9cm diameter. Since the density of cold water is higher than hot water, the density rod will float up in 300C water, if it is placed in 400C or above water, it will sink. This principle is applied in factory to detect the density of lead-acid battery electrolytic solution.
