It is different from the common 1-dimensional grating (i.e black & white
line engraved on an glass slide), 2-dimensional grating slides mounted constructed
from fancy computer geometrical patterns using lithographic film; ideal for
the study of the interference and diffraction of light from a point light source
through direct observation or as a model of Ladue's crystal diffraction. It
